Local resident Diane Huntington Loring attended the inaugural Ultra Sparring Taekwondo Development Training Camp Nov. 6-10. Loring, who is the executive director of Women Involved in Sports Evolution, was one of 11 participants who competed in the camp, which took place at the U.S. Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.
The participants were all Black Belts and Masters who compete or coach in the Ultra Sparring Divisions. Each of the 11 participants agreed to return to the camp next year for a chance to again work with Olympic, World Class and National Taekwondo instructors.
