Trinity Rose performs at the start line of the LA Marathon.

On Sunday, Feb. 14, the LA Marathon kicked off with a performance of “God Bless America” by Malibu singer Trinity Rose.

The 13-year-old sang to a crowd of over 25,000 runners, as well as spectators, fans and the Mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti. Rose later got to meet Garcetti and he commended her performance.

After her performance, Rose and her parents watched “Nashville Star’s” Coffey Anderson perform the national anthem and cheer runners on from the front row as the race began.

Rose’s next performance will take place as a part of the Malibu Middle Talent Show on Feb. 18 at 7 p.m. She is also a regular performer at Malibu Music Nights on Wednesdays at Malibu United Methodist Church.
