Peak, who served as Malibu’s youngest mayor during his first term as council member, confirmed to The Malibu Times that he would be running for re-election. A Pepperdine graduate who was first elected to office in 2012, Peak had yet to officially pull papers as of Tuesday evening.
Peak was not available for further comment on what he intends to focus on for his campaign or potential second term.
