Former Malibu resident Kimberly Ann Reynolds died Nov. 4 in her Tehachapi home. She was 41.
Reynolds was born on Aug. 31, 1964 in Santa Monica to Richard and Beverley Faria. She grew up in Malibu, where she met and married Bart Andrew Reynolds.
As a young woman, Reynolds participated in several rodeos, earning a large number of ribbons and trophies. She was a champion barrel racer.
Reynolds and her husband moved to Tehachapi in 1991 to be near relatives. She was employed as a special education health aid for the Tehachapi Unified School district for four and a half years. She also worked as a home health caregiver.
Reynolds is survived by her husband, Andrew Reynolds, her daughter, Lindsey, and her brothers, Jack Faria, Mike Faria and Rick Faria.
A memorial service will take place later. Wood Family Funeral Service handled the cremation arrangements.
