In observance of antibullying month, Juan Cabrillo Elementary School conducted an antibullying student assembly led by Steve Osterhage, executive director of Family Fuel, an organization that teaches children, teachers and parents anti-bullying strategies.
At the assembly, students learned empowering strategies to help deal with bullies and how not to be a bully. There were separate age-appropriate seminars for each grade level.
