Kathy Kohner Zuckerman, the real-life Gidget, (right) give copies of the book of her life written by her father, Frederick Kohner, to Malibu Boardriders Club member Jodi Freeman. The books were autographed and were donated for the silent auction at this past weekend’s Call to the Wall surf event. Proceeds from the auction and the entire event go to Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times for children with cancer and their families. This was the 16th annual Call to the Wall surf contest sponsored by the Malibu Boardriders Club, formed decades ago by local Malibu surfers.
