We candidates for City Council got off to a great start Saturday with a forum at Paradise Cove. What is extremely important to the residents in both this mobile home community and Point Dume Club is the upcoming Prop 98 on the ballot statewide in June. Funded by wealthy landlords and the organizations supporting them, Prop 98 has a hidden agenda and ultimately will erase rent control. I urge you to vote no on Prop 98 and protect our cherished Malibu residents.
