The Crescent Beach Volleyball Club has started a Malibu chapter, headed by former U.S. champion and two-time world champion for beach volleyball Sinjin Smith. Smith and professional beach tour veteran Tony Zapata coach the Malibu team—made up of current Malibu students—every Tuesday from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the Zuma Beach volleyball nets.
