Lifeguard training begins

The Los Angeles County junior life guard training class began Monday at Zuma Beach. The program is designed for children from ages nine to 17 to learn water safety, CPR, life-saving techniques and more. The class is offered every day, Monday through Friday. It started on July 2nd and will continue through August 3. The class has two different sessions to choose from, a morning session starting at 8:30 a.m. and an afternoon session starting at 1:30 p.m.
