The Malibu Association of Realtors leaders attended the California Association of Realtors Board of Directors and business meetings in San Jose recently, where they were presented with an award from the Housing Affordability Fund. The award was given for raising funds to provide more options for first-time homebuyers’ entry into home ownership. The fund distributes resources to the local Realtor associations throughout California who have submitted requests for local programs that deal with housing affordability and housing supply directly.
Malibu Association of Realtors President-elect Bobby Lehmkuhl, President Dan Ross, past President Jan Thompson, Regional Chair Bill Bowling and Association Executive Susan Manners attended a trade show for California’s real estate industry while on the trip. Seminar events were offered at the event on numerous aspects of real estate business, including international real estate, land management, the current market and many others.
