Last weekend we watched the same yacht pictured on page A10 of your Aug. 22 edition from our deck. Unless Larry Ellison has recently added it to his other luxury possessions, it does not belong to Mr. Ellison, as you state in the caption. Rather, the yacht known as “Luna” is owned by the Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich. Unfortunately for Mr. Abramovich, in the competition for whose yacht is the biggest, the 377-foot Luna has been outstripped by another boat that was also parked out by the pier for nearly a week last year, the 414-foot “Octopus,” owned by Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen.
