County of Los Angeles dump trucks on Tuesday carried sand from Zuma Beach to Surfrider Beach, appearing to add reinforcement to a sand berm protecting the historic Adamson House from damaging currents.
The sand was dug by a front-end loader near the Zuma Beach Lifeguard headquarters for transport by dump truck to Surfrider, according to bystander Hans Laetz.
