Thank you, Malibu Times, for the Malibu Little League baseball history in your March 3 article. It was great reading about the pioneers, but the Malibu baseball community owes big thanks to current president Steve Ciniglio and recent years past presidents Jack Evens, Karen Vititoe, Heather Beck, Maud Ann Sutherland as well as current longtime board members Laura Rosenthal, Manny Gonzalez, Lawrence Myers and Bob Lamasney.
Special thanks should also be given to longtime managers and coaches Tim Biglow, Steve Weinstock, Walter Rosenthal, Chris Galate, Kevin Beck, Mark Conrad.
Sorry I can’t mention all you volunteers, but thanks. If you think their jobs are easy, try it.
Also thanks to the Malibu City Council and the Kiwanis Club for your continued support. I believe all will say it was a great opening day this past Saturday. Play ball!
