The Community Development Commission of the County of Los Angeles seeks community input for its “Consolidated Plan for Housing and Community Development.”

The five-year plan will be used to help guide future policy and actions including housing, economic development, infrastructure and community and public facility investment. The plan is required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, which provides funding for the Community Development Block Grant program, according to a press release. The program gives grants to communities, including Malibu, for different community needs.

The community development plan will be partly based on community input. A confidential online survey is available in order to collect community input. The deadline for responses to the survey is Nov. 15.

The survey can be found online at research.net/s/LACountyHousingandCommunityDevelopmentSurvey
