My dog
I would much rather talk to my dog.
I consider it time well spent. I don’t have to ask, “Dear may I please bend your ear,” for my dog’s ears are already bent.
I would much rather talk to my dog.
I’ll let him decide reason and rhyme.
He makes listening an art, especially when he farts.
I know that he’s smart, he agrees with me most of the time.
I would much rather talk to my dog.
It’s good to get things off my chest.
If I speak like a fool, I know all is cool. Keeping secrets is what dogs do best.
I would much rather talk to my dog.
New technologies leave me agog, I have e-mailed but not twittered and all things considered I’m still left in a fog.
I would much rather talk to my dog.
