Pepperdine University’s Graziadio School of Business and Management last week appointed Dr. Gary L. Mangiofico, of Laguna Beach, as director of the Master of Science in Organization Development program. The graduate executive degree program, among the few in the country, prepares leaders in the art and science of managing strategic change through experience-driven field research, international professional engagement and applied learning coursework.
Dr. Mangiofico serves as Practitioner Faculty of Organizational Theory and Management at Pepperdine’s Graziadio School, where he has taught since 2002, and as chief executive officer of Los Angeles Universal Preschool, an independent public benefit corporation working to make voluntary, high-quality preschool available to every 4-year-old in Los Angeles County, regardless of their family’s income, by 2014.
Dr. Mangiofico is a former vice president for Johnson & Johnson Health Care Services; COO and senior vice president for Pathmakers, an integrated behavioral health practice management group; senior vice president for Apria Healthcare Group; and chief executive officer for CPC Alhambra Hospital. He holds a B.A. and an M.A. in psychology from Chapman University, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology.
