Three people suffered minor injuries in a single-vehicle crash on Malibu Canyon Road just north of Piuma Road on Tuesday around 6 p.m.

Six people were riding in the silver 2006 Ford Expedition when the vehicle lost control and collided, CHP Spokesman Leland Tang said. The reason the car lost control was not known, according to Tang.

None of the five passengers, whose ages ranged from 15 to 22, suffered serious injuries, but one was transported to UCLA Medical Center with a possible fracture and two were taken to Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills for minor injuries.

The driver, 23-year-old Aviad Bourkis, is from Fallsburg, New York.
