Pepperdine Basketball Teams Suffer Losses

The Pepperdine University men’s basketball team was defeated, 79-62, by the Belmont Bruins on Saturday, Dec. 16, in Nashville, Tenn. The Malibu team played without two of its starters at the game. Currently, the Bruins have a win-loss record of 7-5; the Waves’ record is currently 3-8. 

The team finished non-conference play on Tuesday, Dec. 19, at Weber State.

Meanwhile, the Pepperdine women’s basketball team lost to New Mexico State Aggies with a score of 86-64 on Sunday, Dec. 17, at home. The team has a 4-6 win-loss record.

The women’s basketball team will play on Dec. 28, when they host Santa Clara for their West Coast Conference opening game.
