Measure W, a six-acre, 38,000 square foot shopping mall proposed for Malibu’s Civic Center, will be on the ballot this Nov. 3.
Steve Soboroff, the out-of-town developer behind the massive Playa Vista development, is spending a lot of money to encourage you to approve this development. Soboroff has also sued the City of Malibu because he does not want the citizens to vote on this project. Money is the motive for this development. The developers want to make millions at the expense of our quality of life.
City attorney Christi Hogan said she does not know what will be built. She said that instead of a Whole Foods, it could be a Food 4 Less.
Vote “no” on Measure W to prevent overdevelopment and massive traffic. Help us stop excessive development and keep Malibu a rural seaside community.
