It is time for Malibu citizen zealots to face reality. Pacific Coast Highway is an interstate highway, not a main street in Podunk. When California Transportation Officer Adriana Gianturco prevailed in banning a rural freeway in the inner mountain terrain and sold back the already acquired mountain highway property, PCH was doomed to receive lots of traffic. As time goes by and California’s population grows, our traffic will as well, and nothing can be done about this because the cause is not local.
