Claudette McClinn

Claudette McLinn, a member of the Graduate School of Education and Psychology Board of Visitors at Pepperdine University, was honored at the ninth annual National Conference of African American Librarians by the Black Caucus of the American Library Association. McLinn was awarded for her work as the Executive Director of the Center for the Study of Multicultural Children’s Literature.

McClinn has had experience as a school teacher, school librarian, district supervisor of ESEA Title V Library Services, and field administrator for elementary and secondary school libraries in the Los Angeles Unified School District until she retired in 2011.
