Almost 500 incoming students participated in Malibu Middle School’s “Get Your Stuff Day,” a back-to-school tradition, last Tuesday, Aug. 12. Sixth-, seventh- and eighth-graders visited the MHS campus in order to register, pick up class schedules, take photos for school identification cards; purchase bus passes, P.E. gear and student planners, and see friends ahead of the first day of school.
Following the event, sixth-graders were invited to stay to take personalized tours of the campus with class schedules and high school interns, participate in a Q&A with current students, and attend a free family barbecue that included games and raffles.
The first day of school for MMS was Tuesday, Aug. 19.
