Mostly sunny weather is expected on Saturday, with high temperatures around 62 degrees. Anticipate patchy fog throughout Saturday evening as the low temperature drops to 58 degrees.

Saturday, May 16

  • All weekend long, take part in various musical events at the first-ever Malibu Guitar Festival. The four-day event will close on Sunday night.
  • Under the Oaks Preschool will host a day of music, arts and crafts, food and family fun at its May Fair Family Festival at 10 a.m.
  • Join Heal the Bay for a beach cleanup at Will Rogers State Beach at 10 a.m. 
  • A special workshop will teach homeowners the benefits of converting lawns into water efficient landscapes, at the Michael Landon Community Center at 1 p.m. 

Sunday, May 17

  • Join motoring enthusiasts from around the world for a morning of exotic cars and coffee at Malibu Bluffs Park at 7 a.m. 
  • Enjoy an afternoon of art, food and wine at a reception displaying local artist Dan Lavigne’s paintings, at 12 p.m.
  • Activities for children of all ages, games, and a special Splash-Trike-Dash Triathlon will be some of the many attractions the Children’s Creative Workshop Spring Fair, at Point Dume Marine Science School Park at 12 p.m.
