Rain is likely in the forecast on Friday, with a 60 percent chance of precipitation and a thunderstorm before 11 a.m., according to the National Weather Service (NWS.) A smaller storm may follow shortly after.

Southeast winds will reach up to 15 mph in the morning on Friday, May 15, with a high temperature of 62 degrees. A mostly cloudy evening will bring low temperatures to 58 degrees.

Mostly sunny weather is expected on Saturday, with high temperatures around 62 degrees. Anticipate patchy fog throughout Saturday evening as the low temperature drops to 58 degrees.

Similar weather conditions are predicted fror Sunday.

Saturday, May 16

• All weekend long, take part in various musical events at the first-ever Malibu Guitar Festival. The four-day event will close on Sunday night.
  
• Under the Oaks Preschool will host a day of music, arts and crafts, food and family fun at its May Fair Family Festival at 10 a.m.

• Join Heal the Bay for a beach cleanup at Will Rogers State Beach at 10 a.m. 

• A special workshop will teach homeowners the benefits of converting lawns into water efficient landscapes, at the Michael Landon Community Center at 1 p.m. 

Sunday, May 17

• Join motoring enthusiasts from around the world for a morning of exotic cars and coffee at Malibu Bluffs Park at 7 a.m. 

• Enjoy an afternoon of art, food and wine at a reception displaying local artist Dan Lavigne’s paintings, at 12 p.m.

• Activities for children of all ages, games, and a special Splash-Trike-Dash Triathlon will be some of the many attractions the Children’s Creative Workshop Spring Fair, at Point Dume Marine Science School Park at 12 p.m.
