Tarzan of the apes never met Darwin,
Leastwise his cousins, vine hangers and swingers of merit,
Fuzzy faced guys as swift as a ferret,
Tree climbing mimics said related to man,
Jumping and screeching with banana in hand,
If these be our cousins as Darwin has said,
Let’s all shed our clothes and jump on the bed,
Screeching and yelling as we did when kids,
Maybe Darwin was right and man’s on the skids,
or merely stepping on the proverbial peel,
Apeman or man, which is real?
