There will be no fireworks displays above Malibu on New Year’s Eve this year, according to information provided by the Los Angeles County Fire Department to the City of Malibu.
Two shows just beyond the Malibu area have been scheduled: one in Pacific Palisades and one at the Santa Monica Pier.
The Palisades show is scheduled for 9 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 31. The show at the Santa Monica Pier will begin at midnight on New Year’s Day.Â
