The Malibu Times office will be closed on Monday, Sept. 5, in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
Because of the office closure, Monday deadlines have moved to Friday, including submissions for People items.
Classifieds, obituaries, letters to the editor and news submissions will be accepted on Tuesday under the normal deadline schedule.
Malibu City Hall will be closed Monday in observance of the holiday, as will the Malibu community pool, Malibu Senior Center and all Santa Monica-Malibu Unified schools and school playgrounds and restrooms.
Malibu Bluffs Park and the Michael Landon Center will be open and staffed from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Trancas Canyon Park, Las Flores Creek Park, Legacy Park and Malibu Equestrian Park will be open 8 a.m. to dusk.
