On Monday morning there was a dead mountain lion on Kanan Road. The cat was a juvenile with no collar. Immediately after my sighting, I was fortunate that I found a State Park ranger who took care of removing the remains.
I somehow find it odd that you equate living in Malibu as “discomforting” or as privileged when regarding an animal’s sex life. This juvenile cat was just trying to cross the road, and I doubt it was up to any hanky-panky.
