Mark and Susan Robinson of Bishop, Calif. announced the engagement of their daughter, Caitlin Kuehner Robinson, to Zachary Daniel Sklar, son of David and Karen Sklar of Los Angeles. Caitlin is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, a master of public health candidate at George Washington University and attended Mammoth High School, where she graduated in 2009. She is a senior research coordinator in neurosurgical trauma at UC San Francisco.
Zachary graduated with honors in mathematics from Berkeley after graduating in the top of his class from Palisades Charter High School in 2008. He tutors math and physics in Berkeley and is the manager of East Bay Tutoring in San Ramon, Calif.
Caitlin’s grandparents, Cliff and Gladys Hirsch, have been residents of Malibu since 1965. They raised their children, Susan, Thomas and James, on Point Dume.
A wedding is being planned for the spring or summer of 2018.
