Webster Elementary third- and fourth-grade students recently joined forces with BookEnds to host a community book drive. Students collected gently used books for schools that do not have in-class libraries and are in need of reading materials. After gathering all the books, students in Marcia Nix’s and Lori Rose’s classes sorted them by grade level, boxed them and counted them. The students delivered the 3,307 books to Lemonwood Elementary School in Oxnard Feb. 16.
