Malibu Rotary president and executive director of RainCatcher David Zielski recently visited Uganda and Kenya to install new water systems and check on previously installed ones.

RainCatcher has been providing clean drinking water solutions to African nations and other parts of the world in need since 2004. Several of the villages serviced had never seen clean water before RainCatcher systems were installed, and children often traveled five miles each day to collect water from streams.

RainCatcher systems require much less maintenance than wells and are guaranteed for 10 years. Storage tanks are typically installed at schools so that students can take water home to their families.

Since its inception, RainCatcher has donated over 12,000 filtration systems, providing clean water for over 450,000 people.
