The week of Aug. 15, there will be a planned power outage due to maintenance work on the electrical system by Southern California Edison (SCE).
The outage will start on Tuesday, Aug. 16 at 9 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. in the west side of Cross Creek Road north of PCH.
According to the City of Malibu website, “in order to perform this work safely, SCE must temporarily interrupt electric service and turn off power.”
The maintenance will be to upgrade the infrastructure, make repairs and other needed improvements.
