The Malibu Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution toured the Adamson House Feb. 4 as part of a study of local history.

The group then had lunch at a local restaurant, where tribute was paid to Romaine Andaloro, a charter member of the Malibu DAR who also served as a docent for many years at the Adamson House. Romaine, who passed away in 2010, served as the chapter’s registrar and genealogist for many years. The group is also honoring her memory by placing a brick engraved with her name on the patio of the California DAR State Headquarters in Glendora.
