As the mother of a highly ethical and moral son, I am chagrined and disheartened by the innuendos and false rumors being circulated. Steve (Scheinkman) has reached the pinnacle of success in the business world and his aim in running for city council is to help Malibu become a city that is fiscally sound and secure.
My three sons have been taught since childhood not to make rash statements that cannot be backed up by facts and figures. Every statement Steve has made can be backed up with facts and figures.
My eldest son, Alan, after an illustrious legal career, has opted for public service and now is a New York State Supreme Court Justice as well as the Administrative Justice. James, my youngest son, is a partner in one of the most prestigious law firms in Orange County and soon plans on following his brothers in public service.
I am very proud to be the mother of Steve Scheinkman and I know that he will fulfill his obligations as city councilman with honor, intelligence, sincerity and to the very best of his ability.
