On a sunny day in Malibu, residents and visitors gathered at Vintage Grocers to watch and enjoy roasted Mesilla Valley Produce authentic hatch chiles from New Mexico. On Saturday morning, people took advantage of the day’s fare and bought chiles by the box.

Inside Vintage Grocers, chefs crafted several hatch chile-based recipes, including cornbread, stuffed burgers, salsa, kabobs, scones, danish, macaroni and cheese, and pizza.
