Malibu High School recently recognized teachers and faculty with Honorary Service Awards for their service to local youth. The awardees include Assistant to the Principal Nedra Ford, College Counselor Ah Young Chi, Middle School Counselor Liz Cowgill, Hign School English Teacher Sarah Ryan and Custodian Kim Widner.
The award-winners were nominated by teachers, staff and parents. The honors were given out at a luncheon at Sunset Restaurant, which included a raffle, trivia competition, dancing and other festivities.
