The Malibu Senior Center will host its January Silver Fox Walk at Rocky Oaks Park on Thursday, Jan. 14 at 9 a.m.
The walk is part of a monthly program sponsored by the Malibu Senior Center designed to “offer seniors a chance to explore Malibu’s excellent hiking trails, enjoy spectacular mountain and ocean views and take in the rich, natural habitats of the Santa Monica Mountains with a fun group, while getting valuable outdoor exercise,” according to information provided by the City of Malibu. Events are scheduled one Thursday every month.
The easy to moderate walks are two to three miles long and are led by experienced guides. This trail winds through Rocky Oaks Park, located off Mulholland Highway west of Kanan Road.
Silver Fox Walks are free and open to the public, though participants are asked to RSVP by calling 310.456.2489 ext. 357.
