A high surf advisory has been issued for Malibu and surrounding coastal towns, scheduled to expire Saturday at 6 p.m. The highest surf came and went Friday night, according to the National Weather Service, with surf expected to slowly subside through Saturday evening.
Waves and surf ranging from 4 to 7 feet are expected, with possible maximums of 10 feet. Southwest facing shores such as Zuma Beach are supposed to see the highest levels.
