I just read the article on Cindy Linke and her work with Operation Interdependence (OI). I and the board would like to tell her thanks for her years of volunteering to support the troops. She worked hard and [her work] was greatly appreciated. When OI was founded in 2001 by a retired Marine, he set up our mission to “support the deployed around the world.” Even though many troops are coming home, OI will continue to ship every month up to 20,000 troops not only in the war zones, but to countries including, but not limited to, Germany, S. Korea, Guam and Japan.

OI appreciates all the people in Malibu who have helped Cindy support our men and women in uniform and hope that they will continue to do so. Good luck Cindy, best wishes, may your future be long, happy and healthy. Thank you for your hard work.

Karon Carley, National President, Operation Interdependence
