Celebrate the Fourth of July early this Monday, June 29 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at the Malibu Senior Center for a potluck and live music.
The center is hosting a free “Patriotic Potluck” for the whole family to enjoy. There will be a variety of food and drinks, including small sandwiches, cookies and teas. Guests are encouraged to bring some “tea-time” snacks.
Live music will begin at 3:30 p.m. Some of the performers include Cathi Conn on oboe, Hope O’Niel on flute and Carol Gee on the piano. Sticking with the patriotic theme, music selections will include “My Country ‘Tis of Thee,” “Stars & Stripes Forever,” “Allegro” from C/P/E Bach’s Sonata #3 and many more.
“Grab your hat and come enjoy a variety of teas, small sandwiches, cookies and fun!” stated the Senior Center in a press release.
