Jonathan Toker was the first Malibu resident to finish the classic distance of the Nautica Malibu Triathlon on Sunday, Sept. 20. Toker finished fifth among the professionals and seventh overall with a time of 1:24:44.
The classic distance of the triathlon features a half-mile ocean swim, an 18-mile bike and a four-mile run. Over 5,000 athletes from across the nation finished the classic distance event.
