The Malibu Rotary Club will host a talk by Vietnam veteran Shad Meshad, the founder of the National Veterans Foundation (NVF) and a psychologist in the medical services area of the military. Meshad’s work includes treatment of what would become known as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), when he conducted interviews with soldiers in Vietnam. His work with the NVF now focuses on support for veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan who suffer from PTSD and brain injury. Meshad’s talk is open to the public and will take place at Pepperdine University’s Graduate Business School on Oct. 29 at noon. For more information, call 310.625.5339.
