I plan to give some gift certificates from Malibu Hardware and Masonry Supply for Christmas presents this year. Supporting our local merchants during this challenging economic period is something that we should all consider.
I think the Anawalt family has set a great example by giving something to the community with their wonderful store. It has the feel and ambiance of old Malibu and the employees are awesome. It is a step in the right direction, back toward a simpler time and away from the relentless slide toward “Nouveau ‘Bu” that seems to be gripping most of our beautiful seaside town. Thank you, Anawalt family, for your gift to all of us.
