The California Wildlife Center confirmed its buildings were still intact after the Woolsey Fire in a social media post.

“We will begin accepting patients shortly—we need to do some cleaning and move all of our current animals back in and all major roads are closed,” the post read in part.

The cleaning includes cleaning all the exterior enclosures, flushing out the air conditioners and duct systems and ensuring safe air quality, among other tasks.
