Thank you for the wonderful time I have had having you as my customers (at Ralphs) over the years, it was more like meeting with my friends, laughing and teasing, It wasn’t like work, and it made the time fly by.
You really touch my heart. Over the years, I have received as they say in the ‘hood, beaucoup (old school pronouncing boocoo ) compliments, but I have a secret. I have a mirror personality. I give off what I get, so whatever way you see me, pat yourself on the back, because you made me that way.
I am going to miss everyone, all the kindness, love, nurturing, guidance and sometimes watching my son. It is really hard for me, I feel like a kid leaving home for the first time, but also just like the kid who left home. You know I will be back to visit. So one more time, Malibu, thank you, I love you and I’m going to miss you.
Also, thank you, Malibu Times, for all the great pieces on me in the past and Melonie Magruder for what I would call a closing piece, I absolutely love it.
