The Malibu Lagoon State Beach Interpretive Association and Friends of the Historic Adamson House and the Malibu Lagoon Museum celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Adamson House on Saturday.
Individuals who were instrumental in preserving the Adamson House and developing the Malibu Lagoon Museum were honored, and a presentation of awards was given to docent volunteers who have donated time during the past 25 years.
A plaque was presented to Judge John Merrick, who founded the Malibu Historical Society, to Fred May, first president of the Malibu Lagoon State Beach Interpretive Association, and to Ronald Ridge, first treasurer of the association.
