Planned power outages are scheduled throughout Malibu over the next few days as Southern California Edison (SCE) performs maintenance on electrical systems all over town, including the Malibu Road, Yerba Buena Road and Decker Canyon areas.
Beginning January 12-15, SCE crews will temporarily interrupt several areas of Malibu’s electric services to safely complete repairs to enhance system durability, according to a release from the City of Malibu.
SCE Listed Outages:
1. Monday, Jan. 12:Â 7 p.m. – 6 a.m.
Outage Boundary: PCH (south side) west of Yerba Buena Road
2. Tuesday, Jan. 13: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.Â
Outage Boundary: Malibu Road
3. Thursday, Jan. 15: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Outage Boundary: PCH (south side) east of Decker Canyon Road
