Students from the Juan Cabrillo Before and Afterschool Program crafted handmade valentines for pediatric patients at Cedars Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles. Notes filled with messages of love, hope and friendship were sent to the patients as part of the student outreach program, Project Heart. Led by program teachers Zoey Langley and Jennifer Douglas, the project showed the young students the power of giving and bringing smiles to others in need.
