Kai Neville’s surf movie “Lost Atlas” will screen Aug. 13 at the Malibu Inn.
The film, Neville’s second on the subject, features six surfers from his first, “Modern Collective,” namely Dane Reynolds, Dion Agius, Yadin Nicol, Mitch Coleborn, Dusty Payne and Jordy Smith. The movie also showcases about a dozen other talented surfers, including Malibu’s Dillon Perillo.
“This is postmodernism,” Neville said. “This is youth on the run.”
The event will also feature a performance by Le Blorr.
Saturday’s screening event takes place at the Malibu Inn, 22969 Pacific Coast Highway, at 9 p.m.
