Out of 5,000 families that applied, three families were chosen to go back in time to live like pioneers in 1883 in Montana. Their experience was broadcast in the reality show “The Frontier House” on KCET. The Clune family from Malibu was one of the lucky ones-or perhaps not. The family of four tells their story about how “real” the experience was.
