The Santa Monica College Emeritus Concert Band will present its spring concert on Sunday, June 12 at the Broad Stage at the SMC Performing Arts Center at 3 p.m.
Led by Yosuke Miyoshi and guest conductor Michael Farkas, the free concert will have a British theme and feature selections by Gustav Holst, Malcolm Arnold, Ralph Vaughan Williams and the Beatles.
The 60-member Emeritus Concert Band is made up of musicians of a wide range of ages, some of whom are Malibu residents. The band has performed for community members through its free concert series since 1979.
